It is settled in a shady level ground of 100.000 square metres rich of flowers and trees like pine, mimosa, elm and eucalypt in the south-west coast of Sardinia. It is in front of a white sand beach 5 km long and a blue trasparent sea; on the left, Capo Ferrato's cliffs are only 800 metres away from our camp site: it is the ideal place for diving, fishing and skin-diving. Porto Pirastu is composed of a camp site area and touristic village one, which are united and communicating by a commercial centre settled between them. The camp site is made up of 214 camp areas for tents, caravans and campers furnished with electricity and water nearby. Facilietes and bathrooms for disabled peolple mare always available. In order to avoid queue, there is a large number of toilets, free hot showers, washbasins and washhouses. In this area it is also possible to rent caravan entirely furnished. The village area is made up of 36 walling boungalows polishedly furnished with private bathrooms, shower in and out, dining room with a small kitchen and a sofà becoming a double bed, a mezzanine floor with two beds attainable through a metallic stair, a large veranda and private garden. Walling boungalows with one more bedroom for a maximum 6 persons are available. The commercial centre is made up of a elegant restaurant , a portico, a bar, a pizzeria, a market, for entertainment and an amphiteatre for shows and cabaret. Sport facilities are available for playing tennis, soccer, basket, volleyball, beachvolley, gymnastic, ping pong, horseriding and all acquatic sports. An official diving center organizes courses for diving and excursions to several small island close to Porto Pirastu.
