THE REGION OF MONTIFERRU AND THE NORTHERN AREA OF ORISTANO
This area includes the only mountainous region of
the province of Oristano and ranges from the
seaside areas of Cuglieri and St.Caterina di
Pittinurri to the plateaux of Abbasanta and
Ghilarza. The villages of Cuglieri,
Santulussurgiu, Seneghe, Abbasanta, Ghilarza,
Sedilo, Paulilatino, Neoneli, and Busachi are all
to be visited. The village of Fordongianus, in
particular, with its famous Roman thermal baths
deserves a more detailed visit.
Two days would be sufficient for a complete visit.
