IN THE GIARA OF GESTURI
In the territory of the Giara of Gesturi there are
various spots of touristic interest. In Gesturi,
for example, it is possible to visit the region of
the giara, a square basaltic plateau with a
perfectly horizontal outline, and its beautiful
wild horses. In Barumini, the nuraghe of Su Nuraxi
and the Nuraghic village constitute a necessary
stop. In the village of Tuili, a visit to the old
town centre, with its church of St. Antonio Abate
and the painting of St. Pietro in the parish
church is not to be missed.
